They're exceptionally hard texture provides a satisfying chewing experience while helping to support healthy teeth and gums, making every chew both rewarding and beneficial for your best mate.

How are they made?

Every Yakkity Zac's chew begins with rich yak milk, sourced from farmers in the Himalayas. The milk is carefully crafted into a traditional hard cheese, with the cream removed to create a naturally low-fat chew.

A small amount of lime juice and salt is then added to help coagulate and firm the milk. The resulting curds are wrapped in muslin cloth and gently compressed to remove excess moisture before being shaped into solid blocks. After resting for several days, the blocks are cut to size and transferred to a traditional smoking shed.

There, each chew is hung on wire racks and slowly smoke-dried for 28 days. This slow, natural process gives Yakkity Zac's their distinctive golden colour, subtle smoky flavour, and the hard, long-lasting texture that dogs love.
